Curt Fifth Wheel Hitch and Rail Kit Recommendation for a 2006 Ford F350 Short Bed

I have a 2006 F350 superduty with a 6 3/4 foot bed Im looking at the curt 16k slider with the custom fit kit. Will i need to buy any other parts to install this kit? This is my first fifth wheel.

You are on the right track, you will need a slider hitch like the Curt Hitch part # 16516 that you referenced to have enough clearance to make tight turns.

To install this hitch in the bed of your truck you will need a rail kit. A custom kit like the Curt Kit part # C16448-204 that you also referenced would be your best option as it will minimize drilling and cut install time in half when compared to a universal install kit.

For a 7-way for the bed of your truck you would also want the part # 41157.
