Timbren Suspension System Recommendation for a 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500
Question:
I am researching the Timbren suspension kit for my 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 crew cab Z71 4x4 with towing package. Is TGMRCK25S the correct kit for my vehicle? What determines whether or not the spacers are used, I have seen some reviews which say not to use them for this model. The info on the product says there will be around 1 inch clearance between the axle and the new bump stop with no load on the vehicle. Is this correct? If so, I can measure my vehicle and determine if the spacers are necessary. The bump stops on my vehicle are attached to a top hat shaped bracket and are longer than the ones shown in your installation video. Many thanks,

The Timbren suspension system part # TGMRCK25S that you referenced is the correct system for your 2005 Chevy Silverado 1500.
For the 1500 crew cab model you would not need to use the spacer, but you can still measure if you like to be certain.
