Compatibility of Rola TX-103 59403 Bike Rack with 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe

Question:

Will the Rola TX-103 fit a 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe? Will it tilt to allow opening of the tailgate with the bikes removed?

The Rola TX-103 is compatible with either a Class II 1-1/4 inch or a Class III 2 inch receiver, so it should be compatible with your 2012 Santa Fe. With either receiver size, the bike rack will offer 10 plus inches between the hitch pin hole and the closest upright portion of the rack, so it will work perfectly for you.

The rack is capable of tilting rearward more than 45 degrees once the bikes are removed, so it'll clear your hatch with no problem.

If you don't already have a hitch, I'd recommend the Draw-Tite Class III hitch, part # 75684. I've linked you to an install video for your convenience.
