Replacement Bearing For Bulldog 5,000 Lb Trailer Jack
Question:
I have a hand crank 5000lb Bulldog trailer lift for the tongue of my dump trailer and it recently got very difficult to operate. I pulled it apart to see if there was something I could grease and it appears to have had a bearing at the top that is totally destroyedshards of metal and balls mixed with the grease. I do not see anything in your parts listed that seems similar and was hoping it was a replaceable part so I dont have to cut that one off and weld on a new one

We may have the bearing you are looking for that will work with your 5,000 lb Bulldog trailer jack.
The replacement bearing we have is part # BD500223. The bearing has an inner diameter of approximately 0.525 inches, and outer diameter of 1.25 inches, and it is 0.43 inches thick. I have attached a photo of this bearing with the dimensions noted you can check out. This also includes the washer. This bearing will fit round Bulldog jacks with a 5,000 weight capacity and can be used for Bulldog series 170 jacks.
If you find that the bearing is not the part that will work and you want to replace the jack, you can take a look at the attached product page for the trailer jacks we offer that may work for you.
