How to Install Voyager Brake Controller on a 2010 Ford E-450 Class C Motor Home
Question:
HOW TO INSTALL ON FORD E-450 MOTOR HOME CLASS C

Expert Reply:
For a 2010 Ford E-450 Class C that came with a factory installed 7-Way trailer connector all you would need to install the Voyager brake controller # 39510 is the proper harness. For the 2010 full-Size Ford vans you would need # 3034-P.
The connection point for this harness should be behind the center console. If you cannot find where to plug it in on the van or if the van does not have a 7-Way trailer connector the controller will have to be hardwired in.
If the van has a 7-Way but no place to plug in the harness then instead of the harness you would need installation kit # 5506 to hardwire it in.
If the van has a 4-Way but no 7-Way you would need # ETBC7. I have included some links that show and explain the ETBC7 installation for you and you can also follow the relevant parts of the ETBC7 instructions for the 5506 kit.
