Trailer Hitch and Bike Carrier for 2015 or 2016 Toyota Prius V and 2 Electric Bikes

We just bought a new prius v and need a bike rack for our two electric bikes. What would you suggest?

I would need to know how much each electric bike weighs to determine if you will be able to carry them on the 2015 or 2016 Toyota Prius V.
To use a hitch mount rack, which is going to be the only way to carry heavier bikes on a Prius, the hitch option I recommend is # 24847. This is a Class I hitch rated for 200 pounds tongue weight. Many of the bike racks that are rated for a Class I hitch do not have a very high capacity.
So the Class I compatible bike carriers that might work for you include:
Thule EasyFold XT, # TH903202, 65 pounds per bike. Carrier weighs 45 lbs.
Thule T2 Pro XTR, # TH23JV, 50 pounds per bike. Carrier weighs 51 lbs.
Kuat NV 2.0, # NV12G, 60 pounds per bike. Carrier weighs 52 lbs.

The combined weight of the bike carrier and bikes must not exceed the 200 pound capacity of the hitch. If I were choosing one of these racks it would be the Thule EasyFold, # TH903202, because of its high capacity and light weight.
