Recommended Cargo Bag Compatible with SportRack # SR1002 Crossbars Installed on 2001 BMW 7 Series
Question:
what cargo bag will fir with this?

Ideally, you'd want to install a cargo basket like # Y07138 Yakima OffGrid on the crossbars, which will provide a flat, solid and secure attachment point for your cargo bag like the Advantage SportsRack SofTop Rooftop Cargo Bag, part # HE3021. The bag has a 13 cubic foot capacity and is constructed of water resistant material. In a torrential rain, it's possible that some moisture might find its way inside, so I recommend wrapping anything that can't get wet in plastic.
You could attach the # HE3021 bag directly to the crossbars, but since the bag doesn't have a rigid floor, a large part of the bag would be resting directly on the vehicle roof, which would work just fine. If you decide to have the bag rest directly on the roof, I'd recommend using a non-skid mat like part # RL100650, which will keep the bag from shifting around.
Whether you decide to use the bag with, or without a cargo basket, it will be compatible with the SportRack # SR1002
I've linked to demonstration videos for the roof bag and basket.
