If you're flat towing the Fit behind a motorhome using a towbar like the Roadmaster Falcon 2 part # RM-520 and base plates like part # 521190-1, a trailer brake controller wouldn't work because they're compatible with electric or electric over hydraulic braking systems only.
When installation costs are considered, a portable braking system like the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR would be my recommendation. The unit would simply drop into place in front of the driver's seat and the actuating arm would clamp to the brake pedal. There are other options that are a bit less expensive, but when you consider that they'd take hours of expensive labor to install, the Patriot would actually come out being less expensive.
If you were wanting to tow your Fit on a Tow Dolly like part # RM-2050-1 behind a motorhome, you would need to install a brake controller in the motorhome. I'd recommend using a proportional controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P2, part # 90885. If your motorhome doesn't have a 7-way trailer connector at the rear bumper, I'd recommend the # ETBC7 install kit. You'll also need some extra wire, sold by the foot as part # 10-2-1. The amount of extra wire needed would depend on the length of the motorhome.
I'll link you to some helpful articles about flat towing.
