Recommended 5th Wheel Hitch for a 2014 F-150 Ecoboost Supercab 4x4 6 Foot Bed
Question:
The best I can find is the Curt 16K and quick install brackets from your web site, it also has a plastic bed liner.. Is this something that a laymen can install or is it best to have it professionally installed? Thanks

Unless you have moderate automotive skills, I would probably have a professional do this installation. I will also send you a separate email with the installation instructions for the Curt 5th wheel hitch # 16516.
The Curt 5th wheel hitch # 16516, is a fit for your 2014 Ford F-150 with a 6 foot, 6 inch bed. This slider has a 4-way pivoting head and has a 16,000 pound maximum trailer weight, and 4,000 pound vertical load weight limit. This hitch also has 3 height settings from 15 to 17 inches, and the slider moves the hitch head 12 inches.
The custom base rail kit is # C16441-204 so you don't even need to do any drilling in the frame. The brackets will mount beneath your truck bed and provide attachment points for the 5th wheel rails. This is a complete kit so it will include rails and hardware too.
I recommend you remove the plastic bed liner but you can trim away so that the bed rails have direct metal-to-metal contact with the truck bed. If you decide to trim the bed liner, see the video I included.
I included a couple helpful articles and video review for you too.
