How to Add Electric Brakes to a Trailer without Brakes
Question:
Would like to purchase electric drum brake kit for my trailer. Trailer is a VENTURE VAB 2825, 2825 lb capacity. My boat weighs about 2800 lbs. As you probably know, trailer comes with regular hubs. Can you give me turnkey solution to add brakes to my trailer? If you have more than one brand/kit that will work, can you include a list? Many thanks P.S. I have shopped with you several times and appreciate the great service we always get.

To see exactly everything you will need to consider to order the correct hub/drum kit for your trailer you will want to check out the help article I attached that details everything needed to add electric brakes to a trailer.
Basically you will need to first determine what hubs you currently have so that you can purchase the correct hub/drums and then you will piece everything together from there.
