Programmer for More Power and Better Gas Mileage for 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 6.0 Liter Gas

First, you should know that there are programmers and monitors. Programmers actually allow tuning of the motor/transmission. Monitors do not allow tuning and are only comprehensive gauge displays. The Edge Insight, # EP84130, is a monitor and will not allow any tuning.
What I recommend is the Edge Evolution # EP85350. It does have a mileage program along with towing and performance programs. For times you need power and torque you would use the performance setting. For everyday driving the mileage setting is the way to go.
What usually ends up happening is when in the performance setting it is easy to overly enjoy the extra power which means it can be tough to keep your foot off of the gas pedal! This would have an adverse effect on gas mileage.
The estimated power gains are not as significant as you would see on diesel motors. For the 6.0 liter gas motor on the 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 you should see up to 25 extra horse and up to 29 foot pounds of torque.
