To find the cold side of the stop light circuit on a vehicle like your 2014 2014 Mercedes Sprinter you need to use a circuit tester like the part # PTW2993 to test all of the wires going to the brake switch.
You will want to find the circuit that sees 12 volts when the brakes are applied and none when the brakes are released. It SHOULD be a pink wire with a green stripe.
