Transmission Cooler Recommendations for 2013 Nissan Quest
Question:
I have a 2013 Nissan Quest and we are pulling a 2001 Coleman Mesa pop-up trailer, I was wondering if we need to install a transmission cooler? When I search your website you do not list one, but I notice the 2013 Murano has several listed which has the same engine and transmission.

I did some research on your 2013 Nissan Quest, and found that it has a CVT transmission, and the owner's manual states that the towing capacity is 3500 lbs.
If your CVT transmission has lines that run from the transmission to the radiator (some do, some do not), you can install a transmission cooler. A transmission cooler is inexpensive insurance that will help extend the life of your transmission.
The best way to pick out a transmission cooler is to measure the distance in front of the radiator and go with the largest one that will fit. The part # D13502 would be an excellent choice for a cooler as long as you had room for it. It measures 11" Wide x 7-1/4" tall x 7/8" deep.
