When towing your 27 ft travel trailer with your 2013 Ford Expedition, excessive sway can be caused by a couple of things. Many times it is high crosswinds, or can also be caused by the trailer possibly being improperly loaded. You want to make an effort to keep the tongue weight between 10 and 15 percent of your GTW(Gross Trailer Weight). Many times it is recommended to move more weight in front of the axle on your trailer to help reduce sway.
For trailers longer than 26 ft, it is recommended to use 2 friction sway controls like the Reese Friction Sway Control, part # 83660. It is recommended to disconnect these when backing up to prevent damage.
You mentioned you have a Reese weight distribution system on your trailer. Another option for a sway control system is the Reese Dual Cam High-Performance Sway Control, part # RP26002. This system will only work with round or trunnion, cam-style bars, and the trailer frame width cannot exceed 2-1/2 inches.
I have attached a helpful article about weight distribution and sway control you can check out.
