Dimensions of the Curt Multi Fit Hitch part # 13703

Question:

I have a 2013 Flagstaff Classic Superlite 8528RSWS 5th wheel and want to mount a bike rack or tow a small aluminum bass boat. I feel the bumper mount would work fine for the bike rack but am concerned about the bumper strength to pull the small boat. Below are some questions about the frame mounted hitch - if I decide to go that route. Part #13703 How far does the receiver tube stick out from the cross tube? Also, how wide is the flange that bolts to the bottom of the trailer frame the other dimensions are shown but not the width of the flange that has the 2 holes. It shows 12foot long but no width measurement. Is it acceptable to only use the 4 holes on the top part of the flange for bolting to the trailer frame? I am trying to raise it as much as possible I could raise it about 1 inch to keep a good angle of departure. This will help prevent dragging when turning into and out of places that have inclines.

I spoke to my contact at Curt and he informed me that the length from the opening of the hitch to the cross tube is 8-3/4 inches.

He also informed me that the width of the offset of the mounting bracket is 2-1/4 inches. He also said that if you don't use all 6 of the mounting holes you would not get the full capacity of the hitch.
