Hitch-Mounted Cargo Carrier For 2014 Polaris 550 Sportsman ATV
Question:
I own a 2014 Polaris Sportsman 550 EPS. Do you offer a cargo carrier to fit these hitches? The pin s through the top and is 1 1/4

Expert Reply:
We do have cargo carriers that will fit 1-1/4 inch receiver openings. From my research I found some hitches and the receiver looks similar in design to the hitches we offer for vehicles. When any of our carriers are installed in a hitch the pin is inserted through the side and not from the top as you mentioned.
If you have a standard 1-1/4 inch receiver opening then I recommend a cargo carrier like part # C18145. This carrier measures 17 x 46 inches, and weighs about 29 lbs. If you need a cargo net for your equipment I recommend part # C18200.
For a little larger carrier I recommend the Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier, part C18110. This carrier is a bit larger at 20 x 47 inches and weighs about 30 lbs. This carrier features 3-3/4 inch rise in the shank for more ground clearance.
You will want to check the owner's manual or with the dealership to make sure you do not exceed the hitch capacity on your Polaris.
