Hardwiring a 2007 Kia Sorento with a 7-Way Connection
Question:
I am interested in this product for my 2007 kia sorento but my trailer has a round 7-blade connector. Do I require a different wiring harness to work with my camper? Thanks for your help!

No problem. First, if you do not have a tow package (vehicle already has connection points and/or wiring built in), use the # C59236 Trailer Wiring Harness. You would then need to add 7 and 4 way installation kit, # ETBC7.
If you have a tow package, use Curt Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, # C56332. Then, all you need to do to add the 7-Way to your vehicle is install Brake Controller 7 and 4 Way Installation Kit, # ETBC7. This is a conversion kit that will provide you with the 7-Way connection you need at the rear of your 2007 Kia Sorento. If you add a brake controller in the future, you will need the extra wires that come with the ETBC7 for brake controller to function. I have included instructions for both wiring harnesses below, as well as a video showing installation of an ETBC7 kit.
If your trailer has electric brakes, and you wish to actuate them, you will need a brake controller. I can highly recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2, part # 90885.
I have linked you to some install videos as well as the instructions for the ETBC7 Kit.
