Are Titan Surge Brakes Compatible with a 2012 Ford F350 with Integrated Brake Controller

I have a 2014 Titan surge brake on venture boat trailer I pull with 2012 ford 350. With stock controller do I need anything else

Expert Reply:
The surge brake you have on your trailer requires no trailer wiring for it to activate. It is all inertia based. As long as your trailer and truck have the same trailer connector so that the taillights functions you should be good to go.
If you happen to have a Titan BrakeRite I Plug and Play Electric-Hydraulic Actuator Kit, like part # T4813102 instead of a surge brake actuator you will need to use an adapter like part # T4845900 so that your integrated controller can operate the actuator.
