You'll need to begin by isolating the sources of the problem. Usually, the problem is in the trailer wiring.

When the fuse lets loose, is the trailer plugged in? If so, you likely have a short circuit in the wiring on the trailer. Start at the trailer connector, and examine it for excessive corrosion or damage. Clean or repair as needed. Trace each circuit from the trailer plug back to its fixture. Look for wires that are pinched or for loose connections. Check for cracked or worn wire insulation that would allow the copper wire to short out on the trailer frame.

If the fuse blows without a trailer plugged in, then the wiring problem exists on the vehicle. Check the trailer connector for damage and replace as needed. Part # 74682 would be a good replacement. If the trailer connector isn't the problem, the problem exists in the tow package wiring somewhere and you'll probably need to have a mechanic look at it.

I'll link you to our trailer wiring troubleshooting article, which I hope you'll find helpful.
