How Does the Tow Ready 4 Pole to 5 Pole # 20036 Install on a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Question:

I have 2011 Jeep rand Cherokee Lmtd, that has a factory 4 pin trailer wire, and have a 2014 boat with a 5 pin wire... I see your convertor and am wondering if the install is really that simple? I am most concerned with finding which reverse light wire red/black to connect to??? I dont have a tester like the vide shows.

The install for the Tow Ready 4 Pole to 5 Pole # 20036 really is pretty simple. All you will need is a circuit tester like the part # PTW2993 to test the wires going into the reverse light harness. The color of the wire would most likely not be red/black though.
