Today, we're going to be taking a look at Part Number W8260501. This is the Wesbar Single Agricultural Light. The single round light is going to feature a nice, red lens that's going to face backward only for the tail light function. It's a one-sided light. Here on the back, it's just nice plastic construction. It's going to create a nice seal around the light. That way, it's going to protect it from the elements.
It's going to last a long time for you. This is going to work on towed field equipment such as harvesters, field cultivators, and fertilizers. It's going to improve highway operating safety, and it does meet all lighting standards for agricultural field equipment. Now it's going to feature a vibration dampening bulb holder. That's going to ensure a steady beam of light. It's going to be easily replaceable when it comes to that double filament bulb.
It is an incandescent light system. All you have to do is pry off the lens, and then you can gain access to the bulb to change it as necessary. It's going to feature a nice, acrylic lens. Very strong and durable, as well as shatter-resistant. The plug on this is going to be a two-prong molded plug. It's weather-resistant, nice and sealed to protect the connection points.
Also, keep in mind that it never hurts using dielectric grease when making your connections. Again, that's just going to prevent any type of corrosion from being able to settle in on the connection points. Now the length of the cord when I measured it, measuring from the bottom of the plug to the closest point on the housing, gives us a measurement of about 13-1/2", so you're going to have plenty of cord to work with to make your connection. Then, measuring from the end of the plug to the closest point on the housing is about 15-1/2". When it comes to the housing, that's going to be a high-impact, glass-filled, thermoplastic housing. It's going to do a good job when it comes to deflecting objects away from the lens area. It's also going to prevent damage or dislodging of the light assembly.
Another neat feature about that construction is it's really going to stand up well to rigorous field and environmental conditions, as well as the elements for a nice, long life. On the bottom, it's going to expose the mounting assembly. Now you can mount this with screws, bolts, or heavy-duty magnets. All the mounting hardware is going to be sold separately, so it does not come with any hardware for your mounting options. When mounting using the holes, you're going to use the four outside holes just here on the corners. These are each going to give us a diameter of 1/4". Take a measurement, the whole separation, center on center, going this direction is going to be right on 3". Going this way, center on center, is going to measure right at 2-1/2". Another neat thing to point out while we're down here at the bottom of the light is just how it has the tracking assembly. That's going to allow you to run your wires through the grooves and then out, whatever end or whatever side of the light you want. This is a versatile mount, so it can be mounted horizontally or vertically. Having the wires run through that track system is going to allow you to get a nice, flush design on the mounting surface. When it comes to the dimensions of the actual light and housing, the housing is going to measure 6". It's going to give us a height of about 5-1/2". It's going to give us a width of 3". Now the light itself is going to give us a diameter, measuring the outside portion of one lens to the same point on the other side is going to give us a measurement of about 4-1/4". We're going to go and hook this up to our external power source so we can see what it looks like with power running to it, and our overhead lights turned off. Again, two-prong plug, so it's going to supply the ground function, as well as the power to the light. Turn our power source on. You can see here that the Wesbar Agricultural Light sends out a nice, consistent signal. It's an incandescent bulb, but it offers plenty of light for the tail light function. That's going to do it for our review of Part Number W8260501. This is the Wesbar Single Agricultural Light. .
