Is there a Wiring Harness to Install a Brake Controller on a 2002 Bounder on Freightliner Chassis
Question:
I am trying to install a Prodigy P2 in a 2002 Bounder on a Freightliner chassis. Is there a harness adaptor required or do I just hard wire it into the existing wires? Also, Do I have to remove the instrument panel to get to the wiring in the coach? Do you have a wiring diagram with color codes for the install? Thanks

We do not have a wiring diagram for the motor home and Freightliner chassis. It will be a hardwire type of installation since there isn't a harness specific to your motor home.
On the P2 brake controller # 90885, the white wire is ground, black is 12 volt power in, red is input from the brake switch, and blue is output to the trailer brakes. The motor home manufacturer may have a diagram that you could use.
If you are unable to obtain a diagram I have included some links that explain a complete hardwire installation of a brake controller.
