The Steadyrack allows you to store 1 fat bike vertically on the wall of your garage, home, or office. A wide, folding bracket with a V-shaped brim holds your bike securely by the front wheel, and it requires no lifting to load. A secondary bracket holds your bike's rear wheel in place. And the rack swings to the side with your bike loaded for compact storage.
Space-Saving, Swiveling Design
The front-wheel bracket is hinged so it can swing nearly 180 degrees from side to side. This lets you reposition your bike for compact storage, and it allows you to store multiple bikes close together against the wall. And the tensioned hinge requires pressure to move so your bike won't swing freely on the rack.
The Steadyrack's space-saving design allows it to fold flat and out of the way when you aren't using it. Simply push the brackets toward the wall until the upper bracket snaps into the retaining clips on the lower bracket.
Simple, No-Lift Loading
The Steadyrack's front-wheel bracket consists of 2 interlocking pieces of corrosion-resistant, 3/8" thick zinc-coated steel. To load your bike, simply fold the brackets down, hike the bike up on its rear wheel, and roll it forward so the front wheel rests in between the brackets. The steel brackets support your bike's front wheel from the bottom and on both sides to prevent movement. If you've positioned the rack to hold your bike up off the ground, the rack will do the work of lifting your rear wheel when you roll the front wheel onto the brackets.
The Steadyrack's rear-wheel bracket helps keep your bike straight on the rack while still allowing it to swivel as needed for storage. The rear-wheel bracket is a separate piece, so it can be installed at any distance from the front-wheel bracket to accommodate your bike's wheelbase.
Easy Installation
The Steadyrack installs easily with included mounting hardware. Simply choose the spot on your wall that you want the bike to hang and mount the front-wheel holder. Load your bike onto the front-wheel holder, mark the spot where the rear wheel contacts the wall, and install the rear-wheel bracket.

Works great. Takes a little instruction to bring bike on back wheel to load rack but easy once technique is followed.

Excellent product. We have many bikes. Both fat and skinny tires and these racks solve all our storage problems. The look great on the wall too. Very easy to put bike on and off. Very happy.
I like the concept, but it doesn't work so well with bike fenders.

Thank you for your review. This particular Steadyrack Bike Storage Rack is not made for bikes with fenders especially front wheel fenders. If you have fenders you will need part B-SRFR-001. Please keep in mind the arm of this storage rack is designed to slide between the fendermudguard to grip the tire. If the fendermudguard on your bike is very close to the tire this may not work for you.

I like it, but I wished it had a way to lock the side to side in place when putting my fat time bike on the rack. It twists, making it hard to mount my bikes.
I use to store a Look Model 555 carbon fiber 555 bicycle in my man cave garage. It really sets it off and does the job nicely.

Product was easy to install, is easy to get bikes on and off, folds nicely against the wall, we purchased 2 of these racks - the bikes they hold are heavy and large 29 inch wheels 21.5 inch frames , mountain bikes weighing about 30 pounds. The ability to fold them against the wall makes it easy to access other items hanging in the garage. They seem well made and durable.
Works great. Easy installation. The wife loves that she can get her bike down without any assistance. Would highly recommend for its storage capabilities and easy of use.
Don't judge me... I like bikes. I don't drink or smoke or gamble. I don't need a fancy car or fancy clothes... But I do like bikes.
This has it's benefits like good health, spending time outdoors, fun with family and friends. But there are also challenges like where to put the bikes? How to keep my wife happy when the cars don't fit in the garage? How to make room for the next bike?
I wanted something that was easy to use, held my bikes safely, worked with carbon wheels and frames and allows my wife to get her car in the garage. The Steadyrack looked like it might work.
I was able to get 6 bikes hung in the same area where I previously had 2, awesome. It is easy enough to get them in and out that my wife said she liked it, score. It supports the bikes under the wheels which is the safest way to hold them, nice. Works with carbon wheels, even my zipp 404s, cool. I was impressed with the quality of the hardware and construction, no shaking, jiggling or worries that it might fall.
It didn't work with my time trial bike because there is not enough clearance between the front wheel and frame. So I stuck with the frame hanger on that one. And my kids were not big enough to stand their bikes up and hang them, so I put them in a floor rack.
Overall I would say mission accomplished. I got 6 bikes out of the way but still accessible and 2 cars back in the garage.
Dry wall mounting is a little bit sketchy. I hung it but felt like sooner or later it would loosen up so I ended up beveling it out by making 2 x 4 wedges to get the bike flatter against the wall and used toggle bolts to mount it and it's pretty awesome: Tucks right in behind my small apartment door.
If you're mounting to a stud or a beam, it works great right out of the box but be prepared to get creative with sheet rock and dr wall or if you're trying to hide it flat behind a door.
It's exactly what we needed. Our house was built in the 1920s, and there just isn't a lot of storage space. No garage, a tiny shed out back, and a cellar that is a pain to get in and out of. We had been storing our bikes in the sunroom next to the kitchen since we got them. With the Steadyrack, we are able to hang our bikes on our small back porch, above the cellar door. We hung them high enough to clear the cellar door. And because we can swivel one of the bikes out of the way, we can access the door (ie, haul stuff in and out of the cellar) without having to take the bikes down.
Our swiveling Steadyrack bike storage has exceeded our expectations in every way. A previously unusable curved wall in our garage is now home to the bikes, and the swivel action of the storage racks allows them to lay nearly flat, thus tremendously increasing our otherwise tight garage space. Our contractor mounted the racks quickly and easily. They are handsome and efficient and certainly one of the best purchases I've made in a long time. What a joy to own such a fine product that delivers as promised. Thank you!
Very easy to install and functions exactly as advertised
I already had one for a Mtn. bike. Bought this for a road bike. Easy to install, easy to load bikes and they swing out of the way to provide more room. Worth every dollar. Will be purchasing more for the rest of the bikes
For years, I have been wanting to get my bicycle up off the floor, and out of the way. Started looking at what was available, and found this. Was glad that ETrailer carried it, because I've always had really good, quick service from them. I was a little reluctant to spend $90-100 for this luxury. I read the reviews, and they were all very positive. I received it in two days... quick delivery, and made the free shipping cutoff. It is very impressively made, and the price is definitely justified. It keeps the bicycle steady at 90 degrees from the wall, since it stays in that position, until there is reasonable pressure applied; then if you want to get it more out of the way, which I did, it will swing against the wall, and stay there quite nicely. It's exactly what I had envisioned in my head, and thought I'd have to build something, myself, to get what I wanted. I highly recommend this from ETrailer.

We love our Steadyrack Bike Storage Rack. It is easy to mount and is easy to use. Like how it can swing sideways, making room in our garage to park our car along side it. Frees up a lot of garage floor space.
We installed three of these racks last year in our back mudroom since we are frequent bikers, two of us doing so year-round even here in Vermont.
The racks are incredibly convenient and easy to use. I simply hop off my bike, wheel it just inside the back door, then pop a "wheelie" and roll the front tire into the rack. I used to lift my whole bike up onto a hook which was incredibly inconvenient, difficult to do with an injury, and impossible for my wife and son.
Current challenges: My 9-year-old struggles a bit to get his front tire in the air to pop into the rack, but I think this has more to do with his level of coordination. Also, if the front tire has a fender (to prevent the rooster tail effect in rainy weather), it does not sit well into the rack without some extra effort.
I enjoy this rack very much and get use from it all the time. I recommend it for moderate to heavy users of their bikes.

Absolutely love these! Simple installation. Love how they swivel which helps in our single garage. End caps are hard to take off/install but used a rubber hammer to persuade them into place. These worked great for my Aventon Pace 500 with fenders and my wife's Trek Hybrid. Huge improvement and easy to load for old folks like us!
