- Weight Capacity of the Yakima HD CrossbarsThe Yakima HD Crossbar Set, part # Y01157, have a weight capacity of 500 lbs in conjunction (i.e. the two of them together can hold 500 lbs). The reason the single bar, part # YA34FR, states that its weight capacity is 500 lbs because these bars are intended to be used as a set (either with the same one or with another HD bar of a different length).
