Have used the block head bike mounts by Yakima on trips of 800 to 1500 miles with no incident. Easy to mount the bikes and they have not released even on bumpy roads. Great product for my truck box and bikes are always in view.
Easiest way I have found to transport our bikes
With a little adaption the Yakima brackets mounted to my built in bed rails on my 2010 Nissan Frontier. With my truck cap this makes my bikes safe and secure, out of sight out of mind.

Works great! It would be nice is it came with the mounting hardware, however. eTrailer.com shipped the product immediately.
I got my part it is in great shape and is exactly what I wanted. The delivery was quick and even though the money was held in my account, it was not officially transferred until the part was delivered.

Mounted on a jet ski trailer. Product works great! Allows me to haul bikes and jet ski at same time.

SOLID construction ... this thing is a beautiful little block of metal with a robust skewer and clamp. I’ll be using mine mounted to a 2x6 running across the front of my F150 bed floor. Very nicely made. 1” lag bolts fit well under the curved shape.

Worked as claimed. Have a 2 5/16" rolled hitch lip, so I had to remove the insert filler. Fits good. Trailer is stored in a open storage lot. Cheap deterrence. Delivered on time.
The deadbolt lock provides higher level of security than the original hitch lock. I wanted to protect the bottom of the hitch and prevent someone from grabbing the trailer by using a ball type receiver or a 'C' type receiver on their vehicle. New lock installs in less than a minute.
This lock was received exactly as described, is made of extremely high-quality components. I was also very pleased that this item could be keyed alike with other DeadBolt locking products such as the hitch receiver lock. I strongly recommend this item without reservation.
Purchased to secure my vintage Avion travel trailer. I have invested some money and labor in it and don’t want it to disappear! The lock fits the original coupler with a little side to side play. I purchased another lock that did not fit and was pleased that this one did, as discribed. Quality appears very good.
So I had been looking for a keyed a-like lock set for my trailer and hitch/receiver for a few months. Well finally after not finding what I wanted and getting to the point of exhausting my internet search I called etrailer. I spoke with Ashley E. and she got to work on finding me EXACTLY what I needed!!! I purchased the DeadBolt™ trailer coupler (not in-use) lock, trailer coupler (in-use) lock, and hitch lock all keyed the same. They all worked great, looked great (quality), and best of all they were made in the U.S.A.!!!!!!!!!
This small bit of hardware is easy to use and gives me a little more security than not using a hitch lock.
Any pro who really wants to take your trailer can do so, but if there are a number of trailers together, this might be enough to make them decide to go try another one instead.

The Yakima racks are still performing great. I did stiffen up the truck box with a 3/4 aluminum angle on the interior to prevent metal fatigue of the box lid flexing a little. Preventive precaution: The bikes ride with security, safely, and with a quick glance in the rear view, I have complete viewing for my RV. 3000+ miles so far on bikes and racks.
