Specs:
This fresh-water hose includes a cable with a built-in heating element to keep your water from icing up when the temperature drops below freezing. Simply plug the cable into the 120V AC outlet on your RV. The element automatically activates when the outside temperature gets too cold, warming up the water and keeping it flowing so that it makes it to your RV without freezing. And if things get too hot outside, the heater turns off to prevent the cable from overheating.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Aquafresh heated freshwater supply hose. Now this is going to provide smooth flowing drinking water in subzero temperatures. It's a self regulating heating source, it's going to supply additional heat as the temperature is dropped. Again, as your temperatures decrease, the heat source becomes warmer as needed, no thermostat is required. Again, self regulated heating source so that's a really great feature of the unit. This is one end of the hose right here, this is the end where the power cord is connected to. You're also going to get a seal right there that can be placed inside the threaded connector that's going to create a leak proof connection point.
The other end is right here. Nice durable construction. It's blue in color, it's going to have these heavy duty zipper installation cups at each end for added freeze protection and it says that PVC hose, it's listed to NSF and ANSI372 and 61 standards. The hose length is 25 feet long. It's got your power cord right here. This is going to give us a length of 6 feet long.
The plug is clear, it's got a light in there that will illuminate when this is connected to a power source. The hose is going to operate at 120 volt AC power and again, nice durable construction. It's blue in color and it's going to come with some hook a loop straps right here. That way when the hose isn't being used you can wrap it up and you can re-use these to do it to a stowed position and just keep the hose together. That's a really nice thing that's included with the hose itself. That's going to do it for today's look at the Aquafresh heated fresh water supply hose..

When you need clean, drinkable water, even in the cold, use this heated hose to keep water flowing to your RV. First one was warranted out within less than a year due to it, being made poorly and snapping at the metal, had no issues with that etrailer was awesome with the replacement. But now I find myself less than two years down the road with a replacement rusted and broken. Cheap material. No one should buy this or sell this product.
I’ve only used it one night when it was below freezing and it seemed to work well.
I had two issues with the hose:
1- The product description didn’t indicate which ends of the hose had the male/female connections. I had to buy both connections so that I could plug the electric into my receptacle in my wet bay.
2- The end with the electric cord is very tight to the water connection making it hard to twist tightly so there is no water leaking.
Overall, I’d give it a 4 for now.
Used hose 2 times. First time worked great. Second time it leaked pretty bad from the factory hose connector. Replaced with several different seals and no change. Hose is now useless for the intended purpose as it likely has damaged the heating element.
I lived in my 5th wheel last winter, in Missoula MT and the hose didn't fail me even in below zero weather. The instructions state not to use an extension cord, but this is just not possible in some situations. My advice here is to buy a really good heavy gauge cord (don't go cheap here) and you will be fine. I purchased a cord that lit up at the end so you can check it easily. Also run some heat tape on the spigot itself.
We’ve used this heated RV water hose 4-5 times in the past year and it has worked exactly as described! We first used it at Glacier NP in May of ‘19, then Alaska during the summer, and the last time was November of ‘19 at Lake Tahoe when it got down to 9 degrees F! No frozen water pipes! Great product and excellent etrailer.com customer service, as always!
I live in my trailer full-time in North Central Texas, where winter weather is dynamic, to say the least. I got the hose last year just before a forecast cold snap. Others in my park had their water supply line freeze up -- I didn't. Ever. I left it inline all summer, out of laziness I guess, more than anything else. I took a close look at the hose the other day, and it looks new except for a little dust on it. If you are, or will be, anyplace with a chance of freezing your water supply, just get this hose. The consequences of waking up and not being able to make coffee are too terrible to imagine. Get this hose!
I need a heated water hose for the winter and etrailer has the high quality Valterra heated water hose at the best price, period. The ordering was simple, and the delivery via UPS was excellent and fast. I use etrailer for many of my RV products and accessories and have never been disappointed.
It delivers water and doesn’t freeze. It’s a hose. It works.
Customer service is always outstanding. My order is always delivered promptly and the products are as advertised.
It arrived promptly and was undamaged. I would probably order a longer one next time.
Excellent product..
I've had this item for well over a year. The hardest test I put it through was nearly 10 degrees F. It performed flawlessly. I'm glad we bought it.
Product worked exactly as expected. We had no issues at all and got through the winter just fine. Very happy that we purchased this hose.
Hose is working as promised. Pleased with the quality. The hose was so stiff that it was hard to get it in place for hook-up but with some nudging, it installed. the stiffness is not a negative but is an indication of the strength of the casing
works great. only had to use a few times as we don't do much winter camping. but it performed just great when the temps dropped below freezing.
I've owned one of these before and have not hooked this one up yet, but I will because it will be 29 tomorrow morning.
I've done business with these guys several times and have nothing but the best to say for them.
Thank you for everything.
Thank you
Received my order faster than expected. Have not used product yet but impressed with it’s quality.

Fastest service ever will be hooking up this weekend
