Love it! Keeps our Doodle from running through the screen. etrailer.com shipped the Defender in a box that prevented the screen from getting damaged. I initially ordered it from Walmart. However, they shipped it as is, so the top part of the screen was warped. I returned the damaged defender and ordered from etrailer.com. Our front door Defender also arrived damaged, so I going to order the 30" from etrailer.com next. From now on, I'm going to etrailer.com for all of our travel trailer needs first.1775010

Have had it installed for over a year of use! Has protected the screen from elbows, feet, pet-pushing .....all of the above!! A great addition that keeps me from having to re-screen endlessly! I always find what I need on etrailer1644274

That is a bummer that you were not able to use it. The best way to make sure that it will fit is to measure the width of the door frame from edge to edge and round up to the nearest even number.

I wanted to ask you more on why you did not like the protector? I would be happy to help whenever I can.

Good quality product. I was not sure about the installation.
I believed it should have been mounted on the inside but
the ledge was on the outside. My trailer, a Lance, was made
the opposite. I also discovered the size was wrong, my fault.
I returned it and bought it locally cheaper in the right size.1375255

The product seems solid enough, but the test will be when we get our dog inside; however, there is a gap at the top, and I can’t figure out how to install the plastic strips to fill it in. It would have been nice to have actual instructions included with the product instead of having to search Google and YouTube for tutorials and “how-to” videos. We have a NEW 2022 Atlas RV and it went in Very well, took 1 min. NO problem, clipped right in place, like a storm door screen. You must measure the INSIDE door Jamb for size. I called and talked with Kate who explained what to do WELL ! A GREAT Help !!! This type is the ONLY style that works if your RV steps fold up, to the inside of door opening. We added the one smaller extension to the bottom. Hope pictures show up good. A Nice firm screen protector "defender" for or two dogs! Worth every dollar ! Looks GREAT too! Built firm metal construction. WE love it ! The RV dealers need to have these on hand to sell on site !1618690

The poor quality of the bottom filler strips is very disappointing considering the high price of this product. All of the plastic filler strips were different lengths and the cuts were crooked and rough. I have seen smoother cuts made with a chainsaw. The length of the pieces were not long enough though to be recut smooth and square.1569864

After repeated attempts to get one that was “supposed” to fit off another site, I knew I could always count on etrailer to help me find exactly what I needed and have it delivered in a short period of time. I measured my door as the directions instructed before I ordered the screen defender. The instructions said that I could expect to round up as much as 5/8 of an inch. My door way is exactly 29.5". The screen defender is 1/2" too big and won't fit.

Easy to install and use. It's fairly heavy for our screen door but it does an excellent job of keeping our 40 pound fur baby from pushing through the flimsy screen on the door. Recommended.1632223

Have ordered 2 of these screens, two different sizes for my Cruiser MPG 27', entry doors. Because they are different widths. One screen came w/a broken plastic "tab" on the bottom other came w/ a busted spring inside the locking latch. Did not bother to return them, just fixed them myself. Bottom plastic spacers were a challenge to fit. Overall I think Lippert could do better!!! Though sometimes NOT Lipperts fault but by handlers in the shipping industry (UPS,Fed Ex, Amazon) when we consumers receive product!!!1566494
