Speaker 1: Today we're gonna take a look at the replacement E-coat mounting bracket for the Kodiak disc brake caliper on 8000 pound Dexter axles. Now this caliper mounting bracket will mount to the brake mounting flange on your trailer axle and it holds the disc brake caliper. This is a heavy duty ductile iron construction. This one has a nice E-coat finish to it, provides corrosion resistance for freshwater and limited saltwater use. They do use the embossed bolt holes up here to provide extra thread contact for your caliper guide bolts. Gives you a nice, tight, secure connection between the bracket and the caliper.

This offers a side support to ensure that the load is carried by the bracket, not just the bolt. They do offer stiffeners to reduce vibration when you brake, and this is a universal design so it does work for either left hand or right hand four bolt brake flanges.This part is made in the USA. Again, the application, this is for calipers on disc brakes with over the hub rotors or one piece hub and rotor assemblies. It's designed to fit axles that are rated at 8000 pound Dexter axles. The rotor diameter that this accepts is a 13 inch rotor diameter.

Again, the brake flange configuration is four bolts. And just to give you some measurements on this for the four bolts, we're gonna measure the bolt pattern, in other words center to center across horizontally. It's gonna be right at 3 3/8 inches. And if we do it center to center vertically, 3 5/8 inches. And then the measurement of this axle hole diameter right here is gonna be right at 3 7/8 inches.
