Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this Jif Marine three-step gunwale hook ladder, with a 250 pound weight capacity.Now, you can hook this three-step ladder onto your boat's gunwale so that you can climb aboard your boat, and then you can just remove it and then stow it away when you're heading home. You can see the hooks and the braces, right down here, do all folded in for a nice, easy storage.Now, the frame on this is an anodized aluminum construction. It's very lightweight and rustproof. Total weight on this is only about eight pounds.

The steps themselves are a plastic step, which are injection molded and UV resistant. And basically this just easily hooks over your boat's gunwale. There's no installation required. You can see it has these two foldout braces at the bottom with the rubber bumpers on them to brace the ladder against the side of the boat and also to protect the boat. And then you just hook that over the gunwale on your boat.Now, it does have these hooks on it.

These are seven inch deep vinyl covered hooks, and this allows the ladder to tightly grip your gun rail. Now the cooks themselves have a nice vinyl cover on them, and this protects the ladder, or protects the boat from any damage, and it helps grip to the boat.Now, a few specs on this the weight capacity is 250 pounds. Total height on this from the very bottom to the very top of the hook is going to be 40 inches tall. Total width, which the widest part is going to be the step, is going to be 15 inches. The hook depth we mentioned if we've measured is seven inches.Now, this is the three-step model ladder.

We do also offer a four-step model, which is part number JIF43FR, and a five-step model, which is part number JIF73FR. Both of those models we do sell separately on our website. But again, you can just hook it on like that.
