Belt-driven puller fan does not have a clutch, so it spins at 100 percent of the water pump speed for better cooling at high rpm. Curved, stainless steel blades offer increased airflow at idle, and they flatten out at high rpm to reduce engine drag.
Note: If your application requires spacers for installation, you must use Flex-a-lite spacers (sold separately) to preserve the warranty on the fan.

Jeff: Hello everybody, this is Jeff, at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this Flex-a-Lite 19" stainless steel belt-driven six blade flex fan for standard rotation. Now this is a belt-driven polar fan; it does not have a clutch. It spins at 100% of the water pump speed for better cooling at high RPM. You can see it uses the nice, curved stainless steel blades, which offer increased air flow at idle, and then they'll flatten out at high RPMs to reduce any engine drag.Diameter on this fan, if we go all the way across, is about 19 3/8". We mentioned it is a belt-driven design; nice stainless steel blades.
You can see the number of blades; there are six of them. The RPM rating on this fan is 10,000 RPM. This is a standard rotation, which means that, if you're standing in front of the vehicle looking towards the rear of the vehicle, a standard rotation fan like this one is going clockwise, and a reverse rotation will go counter-clockwise. This one is a standard rotation. Pilot hole diameter, which is the hole here right in the middle, is 5/8" diameter.
The inaudible 00:01:05 pattern, you can see, they do use elongated holes, so the inaudible 00:01:09 range anywhere from 1 3/4" up to 2 1/2".I also wanted to mention, if you look on the fan blade right here, there's a label on it; this will indicate this is the engine mounting side. It will also have an arrow to show you the direction of the fan rotation. This fan is made in the USA. One note on this; if you're replacing a clutch type fan, a spacer may be needed for installation, because you're replacing both the clutch and the fan. If you do use spacers, you must use Flex-a-Lite spacers, which we do sell separately, to maintain the warranty on the fan.
If you're replacing another normal flex fan, spacers are not needed. That should do it for the review on this Flex-a-Lite 19" stainless steel belt-driven six blade flex fan for standard rotation.
