Picking Out Fan Direction for 1966 Ford Mustang with 302 Engine
Question:
My car is ford mustang 1966 with a 302 engine. I am buying a flex a lite belt driven fan to help in extra cooling the engine. how i chose the fan direction ? clockwise or counter clockwise?

Basically you'll just look at the current fan you have now noting the pitch of the fan blades and you'll know which direction fan blade you'd need. It depends on the drive belt system that's on the vehicle. Due to the age of your car and the possibility of the engine being from a different year I can't guarantee which direction you'd need. Clockwise turning fans as you face the front of the engine is standard and counter-clockwise would be reverse rotation.
The part # FLX2019 is a 19 inch standard rotation Flex-A-Lite fan blade and the # FLX2219 is reverse.
