If your vehicle is stuck in off-road terrain and has lost the traction it needs to escape, this recovery strap will help pull it free. The strap is designed to stretch and recoil. This means that when it is put under tension, the strap stretches until snapping back to its resting length, "slingshotting" the vehicle out of its jam.
This recovery strap has a reinforced loop at either end for securing to the tow vehicle and the recovery vehicle. Once the strap is attached, slowly move the recovery vehicle away from the stuck vehicle. This will initiate the stretch and recoil action and pull the stuck vehicle free.

As you can see here, we've kind of gotten our truck high-sided, so we're going to have to get it out. Why not put the application of the Erickson Manufacturing Tow Strap into good use Let's go ahead and undo our D Ring. That way we can get our strap hooked up. Go ahead and pull out your pin and drop it out, go and hook it up, get our strap around there. Put it back up and drop in our pin. There you have it.

These things are a beast. A John Deere 650 cannot break this if it is hooked up right. I would buy more, but can’t kill the ones I have.
This product is great! Please make sure you are buying one with the correct breaking weight for your use...bought one too light the first time and paid the price, my bad. Now I have the heavy duty strap I need.
Most reasonably priced strap with this capacity I've found. We use them to pull out semi trucks with CAT 980 loaders when they get stuck in our plant. They are susceptible to fraying if hooked up to sharp corners, so a couple of 1" shackles would also be a good investment.
Tow strap works well. It folds/rolls up nice and stores well in a tool box so we can have it with us if needed.
Great purchase! Bought the 8" x30' 100,000 lbs. recovery strap. It is just as described and arrived in 3 days. I will use it for recovery of large 4wd tractors and combines. Can't beat the price or delivery!
I have not had the need to use the tow strap, and hope I never need to. It looks good, and sturdy, good quality, and value for money.

I got this strap today and it is extremely heavy duty and heavy weight. I haven't gotten to us it yet but I am sure that it will be able to hold up to me.
