Technically, the only way to properly tow one vehicle behind another is to use a whole flat towing set up which would include base plates, a tow bar, safety cables, lighting, and supplemental braking.

For your situation this would not be financially feasible since you would need a different set of base plates for every vehicle.

Tow straps may or may not be legal in your area for vehicle transport so you would want to check the local and state laws. Tow strap # EM79201 is rated for 4,000 pounds but honestly if it were me I would go for the highest capacity tow strap I could get or use multiple tow straps.

For a serious tow strap take a look at # EM59807 which is rated for 100,000 pounds. That one might be a little too much overkill though. Still pretty awesome. Something in the 18,000 pound range, such as # EM59500, would probably be a better option.

If you can't legally use tow straps then the best solution would be to invest in a vehicle transport trailer.
