Aluminum and steel alloy construction is sturdy and eco-friendly.This is a very sturdy and well-made hitch. Installation was fairly straight forward - the directions and video are very good. My truck is a 2024 Silverado 2500 HD in High Country trim (why pay less?) so, the fairings/moldings under the front bumper were slightly different, but nothing that was not easy to adjust to. The measurements in the instructions were right on.
As you can see in the photos, we have two ebikes that we plan to haul around while we pull our camper. The hitch and bike rack set up appears to be very secure and stable. They sit a little higher than I would like, but not any higher that the snowplow lights I had on a truck I has way back in the day...
I'm pretty good at backing the camper (28 ft), but I am also looking forward to testing out pushing the camper into it's fairly tight parking pad. I've never done it, but I hear it works well in close spaces.
Lastly, this is the second hitch I have purchased from etrailer. We added one to the back of the wife's Rav4 last fall to haul this same bike rack and bikes. It also works great (tight, stable and secure) except note that the Toyota installation was a little more challenging as there is very little room to work & insert the bolts, however, no cutting was involved. It looks nice.
In any case, both transactions were great. If I had another vehicle that needed a hitch, I would purchase it again from eTrailer. Much thanks to all.
Super fast, free delivery. Box came in damaged, but the product was undamaged and complete. Installation instructions and video were spot on. Currently set up for a 12000 lb. inline pull winch, but the options are almost limitless. I'll possibly install a step to make access easier for under the hood work. As always, thanks etrailer.com.

Hitch arrived in excellent shape (in-spite of the box condition - looked line the gorilla from the airline commercial had rolled it around pretty good). Look forward to installing on my truck.

Hitch had performed very well. Installation instruction were easy to follow including some helpful hint from previous customers at e-trailers.
First off, the Hitch was welded right and clean no spatter under cuts good penetration all joints lined up as should very square great job! I know a bit about welding and manufacturing, jigs and fixtures. Second the finish was great looks like it will last a long time. I mounted it on a 2022 2500Hd Silverado with the plow package took me 4 hours start to finish on the ground with a floor jack went as it should I took my time cutting air dams measuring twice cutting once. All went pretty well. Very pleased with the results there are cheaper hitches out there but this one is by far heavy duty and that's what I wanted for a winch and a snowplow. I think I might go ahead a build a bull bar and put in it when I am not using it. I ordered it two days later it came to my door and two days later I installed it. I would by it again and tell all my friends to get one if they needed one. Keep making great products for us hard working Americans.

Still working great no issues, it has had something in it since it was installed, went ahead and built a 3-inch square tube bull bar and added some lights to it. When I need to just unplug the lights pull the pin take it off and put in my 12,000 lbs. winch. I really like having the option of being able to use this on my truck.

The EcoHitch fits perfectly. Service was very good. The etrailer installation video was much better and more helpful than the instructions that came with the hitch. It did take several hours to install and some of the bolts were in very tight spots which slowed either installation considerably.

The hitch has been very handy. Putting a trailer in a very tight spot has never been easier. It is linke driving a forklift. It also works great putting racks on the front when towing a fifth wheel.
The EcoHitch front mount hidden hitch is well made with easy to follow instructions.I would say that moderate skills are needed to install.We used this hitch to carry a generator on our 2021 Chevy HD 3500.Several people asked about the hitch on our 6000 mile trip from Texas to Canada this last summer.
This hitch is awesome. We love using it for our bike rack when pulling our trailer. No problems or complaints at all.
This is the best option short of buying a custom built set up without question. I used mine to hold a 12k winch. Never uad an issue. Installation was easier than i expected especially putting the bolts through the blind holes.
Wanted a front hitch with good clearance that didn’t interfere with my ranch hand and winch mount. This was just what I was looking for. No mounting interference, easy install.
Was not happy to find my carriage bolts too short to put washers on. You might want to double check the tow hook bracket dimensions for the 2023 Chevy Silverado 2500 again. You are about an inch short on the bolts. Also, there's not much room to get your arms up inside to tighten the carriage bolts once the trim plate is mounted as per instruction prior to the hitch install. The video is not very descriptive of what piece gets mounted back on prior to hitch installation and I initially put both the trim and the subplate back on then realized my error when I couldn't put the hitch through the cut hole. Will be needing longer carriage bolts sent to me to put the hitch on correctly. What should have taken a couple hours took me 6!

I will have our Customer Service team reach out to you. As long as the hardware matches the manual then it should be the correct length. I recommend taking a look at the video install that we have on a 20233 Chevy Silverado 3500.

My son and I installed the front hitch in about 3 hrs. No previous experience and no lift. It went on well, but would have been easier with a lift. I've used it once and it was great. I parked a trailer in a tight spot with no problem. The Hitch is well made and mounts securely. I'm very pleased with it.

Great service from etrailer. Order processed and shipped quickly. Installed on a 2022 Silverado :3500 The hitch is well made, fit perfectly. At 10k/1k (total wt/tongue) capacity it’s more front hitch than I’ll ever need. Instructions were easy to understand and follow. Installation requires some cutting of the truck’s plastic trim. Bolted right up with no issues.
Poor customer service from Torklift!
One star - should be 5-stars, but my parts kit was sent with incorrect hardware. Torklift is slow to respond and sent out another kit with incorrect hardware. After calling about the second kit, they promised to overnight the correct parts, but the next day I only received notice that the parts would arrive 5 days later.
If the kit had arrived with the proper hardware, I’d giver the hitch, the 5-stars it deserves.
If you are like me and like to have as much prepared as possible before I get an item to install, then watch the video for the 3500 install, even if you have a 2500, like I do. The 3500 video gives you dimensions to make the cuts in your trim.
The directions are pretty straight forward. Make sure you clean the frame rail well, before adhering the small plate where your tow hook bolts go through. Some people have complained about them not sticking. I reinstalled those bolts the opposite way after mounting the hitch in place. The reason for this, is so I was able to torque the nuts.
This is a good solid and well built hitch. Really overkill for most applications. Too bad, lack of quality assurance and customer care makes for dissatisfied customers.
So shipping and all fine. Box beat up but everything there. Not unexpected. Hitch seems very well built. This went on my 2022 HD 2500 Silverado. They have not updated the application table to include the 2022, but the 22' is pretty much the same truck as the 20'.
Fits and exactly like the pictures. Trim cutting guidance was perfect and exactly the same for 22' model, but I advise to use a Fein or other oscillating cutter not a dremel. Your results may be better.
You will see to fit prior in reinstalling OEM recover hooks - and then reinstalling. The double sided tape is weak. Expect a plate to drop. Bit of a pain but manageable. Also (IMHO) there is good reason for initial fitting to run the long bolts from the outside inward - but when installing the OEM recovery hooks and preparing to torque - sending those bolts the other way (to outside) is sensible so you torque the nut and not the bolt head. Perhaps six of one.
This last is I think important - there is limited real estate to work. The torque process will take you some time and the nuts really need to be on the outboard sides. It will still not be pleasant - one to two ratchet clicks at a time. Note your anchor socket wrench on the inside will likely bind tight so have a dead blow to knock it loose when torquing is complete.
I did mine in the driveway in an afternoon. Mostly a one man job, positioned the hitch with a car jack. Two people will be needed for the torque part and reinstallation of the recovery hooks. You need more hands.
Read the instruction on the trim cutting carefully. Look at the pictures - take the booklet with you to the truck. Painters tape is your friend for clear marks for cutting. Make sure one of your 19mm sockets is a deep type.

Great hitch, simple install. Did have to do some trimming on the chrome lower bumper guard. Hitch is solid and has been primarily used for our bikes and One Up bike rack which is really heavy. Our electric bikes are 95lbs a piece.
The front hitch is great and I use it fairly often. It was pretty easy to install. Etrailer always treats me right.
Perfect fit on my 2020 Silverado 2500. I have the base model truck so some of the instructions did not apply (no wiring to move, fewer screws). Without a lift, I used a scissors jack to raise the unit into position.
Easy install !! Looks great ! No lift to install worked off floor and used floor jack to lift in place .
Would be easier with 2 people . 2023 Chevrolet 2500 High Country Duramax 4wd .
Fast shipping, fit perfectly, and works as expected.
When the delivery arrived, the shipping box was damaged. Hardware (nuts,bolts, a bracket) were floating around freely in the box and were falling out.
Worked perfectly made very well. Would recommend.

Still looking great. Built a license plate holder which now occupies the hitch. Havent needed the hitch yet, fortunately, but Im positive it will work if ever needed.
