Can't wait to try it out for my motorcycle carrier. As always, etrailer gives great, speedy service.
The packaging needs additional crush protection. While it’s difficult to damage a trailer hitch, the box was mangled and the hitch is missing paint and has jagged edges of flaking paint all over. I’ll spend time repairing the finish on the hitch after paying good money for what should’ve been a product in brand new condition.
With it being a new product for the 2021 GMC they said it would fit. I was a little nervous but it fit well. I had it professionally installed and the installer commented on how much nicer this was to install then on other models.
I took a picture looking down from the top of the bumper so you can see it does not stick out. We have a bike rack with the bend in it and it is still plenty distance away from the bumper and grill

Great directions and installation was very easy
The item was quickly shipped. Unfortunately, the packaging wasn't effective at keeping the hitch in the box and paint chipped. UPS used a lot of tape to hold it shut. etrailer did respond and gave me a credit for the touch up painting and inconvenience.
Front hitch fit 2022 GMC 2500 AT4. Shipping box had some damage but I’ll paint the chipped area. Great product.

Need to rethink your packaging. Box was torn, paint was scraped off. Nothing a can of rust-prevention spray paint couldn't fix, but still, a small nuisance. I've read this complaint before in other reviews, so it wasn't a big surprise.
Instructions were clear, but estimated time (30 min.) must have been for guys with lifts and pneumatic tools. It took me about an hour and a half, crawling under my truck with hand tools. I recommend checking the sizes of the nuts/bolts before crawling under the truck. What I thought was a 18mm bolt head turned out to be 19mm. Again, small nuisance at worst. Having a second person to read the instructions and hand you tools/parts would be helpful.
Receiver Fit perfectly. All in all, I'm extremely happy with my receiver. Would recommend.

Excellent product! Well thought out install instructions. The directions and simple special tool provided for blind install of rear support bolts especially clever. One suggestion, instructions suggest taping lower washers in place prior to installing hitch and associated nut. I find even with a pretty new truck the frame is pretty greasy, and even when cleaned tape is a poor choice to hold heavy washers. Instead, I threaded a 6” zip tie through the washer, frame and upper spacer hole, and has sufficient room even with the carriage bolt in place. Tightening the zip tie holds the washer and spacer in place even when moved a bit by putting the hitch in place. Loosely installing the rear nuts, and then clipping the zip tie and removing it allows the installation to be completed with no trouble or the frustration of tape losing its grip at a critical moment.
I needed to install this item on a new truck to enable hauling a handicap scooter while also towing the camper. Item looks good and fit perfectly. Easy installation with included instructions although it might have been even quicker if the two 1/2 carriage bolts that were supplied had been 1/4" shorter in length. Also plan on using with a winch at front of the vehicle.
As stated by many other reviewers, it broke open the box. Needs to be packaged more securely. Ups

The product itself was very good and the installation was easy however the design could have been better, on my2022 GMC2500 I didn’t have to trim the air dam at all because it hardly touched, I would have gladly cut a 2 or 3 inch notch to jet more ground clearance. If the receiver tube was welded on top of the frame it would have a much better setup.
Very easy to install, no issues. Installed it by myself in less than an hour. We use it for a front bike rack for two fat tire ebikes while pulling our trailer

I got this to carry my generator and cooler for my truck bed camper. Works fine but a little bouncy.

Perfectly. It currently holds a receiver step so I can check the engine fluids.Not to mention the warn winch that is occasionally used.
Very easy installation. Was about 30 minutes start to finish. Installed in front of my 2022 GMC 2500 for a rack to carry scooters on.
First of all, the delivery was quick! I have only now had the chance to mount this to my '21 Silverado 2500. The directions were great, everything was exactly as shown. It went much quicker than I thought it would. The hitch receiver appears to be well built with solid welds. Can't wait to use it.
