Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be checking out the Diamond four pin connectors for Diamond stick on LED lights. And what this is gonna allow you to do is either pair up multiple strands of lights or be able to connect to an adapter harness as well. These connector pins are gonna come in a pack of two and whenever you're setting up your lED strip lighting I almost always recommend getting these as well as an extension harness, especially if you're gonna be doing something mildly custom. 'Cause it always seems like you get to a point in your installation for your lights that you need to modify something or rather route it a different way or extend it. And that's where these extra parts are gonna come into play.

And so what this will allow you to do, all right, so one end of your LED light roll will have that pin kind of built in which will allow you to plug into the controller like that. But if you we're to cut, since you can cut these light strips in half, if you we're to cut them in half and kind of run it around to the other side or whatever, you can't get that plugged in to the other outlet on the controller there. So that's where a pin like this would allow you to do that. And be real careful with these two 'cause they're pretty thin. You don't want to force it in.

So if you cut the strip in half then you can power it up and kind of route it whatever way you want. And that's gonna hold true for the extension harness here. It has both female ends on it. So if you we're to want to extend it you could do one of these deals. And then be able to actually plug into the controllers.

So it just really opens up your opportunity on how you can run your lights, how you're gonna be able to plug in and things of that nature. These are gonna be designed to work with the Diamond brand LED lights that has the connectors on it like that. I've seen other manufacturers with very similar type connections. Chances are pretty good though if you got a different brand of lights already, chances are good that manufacturer's gonna have a connector pin like this that you can get and actually kind of allow you to pair everything up together. But with that said, to kind of summarize everything what these are gonna allow you to do is if you cut your light strip in half and still want to be able to use both sides, these will light pair that together to your connector.

If you're trying to put light strips together, so let's say you got two 16 foot rolls and you want to connect them, these will allow you to do that. As well as allow you to use an extension if you need to do it. So, like I said, it's one of those things if you're doing a semi custom install job really for the most part the extension and these things are almost a must have 'cause chances are pretty good you're gonna find yourself needing them. And if you have them already, you'll be in good shape. But I think that'll about do it for our look at of the Diamond four pin connectors.
