Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Derale 17 inch frame rail fluid cooler with the -6 AN inlets. Now, this cooler will improve the functioning and overall performance of your transmission, your power steering, or even your fuel system. It is designed to prevent any heat related failures and this cooler uses the built-in turbulators that'll agitate the fluid for more efficient cooling. And it is designed with copper tubing that's expanded into these aluminum fins to give you maximum heat transfer. Basically, the copper is the best material for conducting the heat out of the fluid while aluminum's the ideal for transferring and dissipating that heat.

Now this does come with the basic hardware kit for installation. Comes with a nice set of instructions that'll describe how it's installed and it even has the mounting brackets installed, you can see. And they are an offset mounting bracket so when you do mount these, it will offset the cooler about one inch to provide increased air flow. This part is made in the USA. They're gonna be a size -6 AN. The distance between those inlets, if we get a ruler center to center, is gonna be right at 1 1/4 inches. Overall dimension from this end to this end, that's gonna be right at 17 3/4 inches long. The height on this is gonna be right about 2 1/2 inches, and the total depth from the bracket to the very front is right at 1 3/4 inches.
