Most OEM coil suspensions have a difficult time supporting heavy front loads like winches, brush guards and snowplows. If your coil springs are totally squished under a load, the lack of shock absorption can be harsh on your backside, especially if you spend long hours sitting in your vehicle while clearing snow. Insert these helper springs in between the individual coil loops in your front coil springs to help defeat driver fatigue and to better support heavy front loads.
Each doughnut-shaped spring has H-shaped channels at the top and bottom that fit to a rung of each coil in your front coil springs. Inside each round spring, a core of microcellular polyurethane foam adds cushioning between your coils. Great for trucks with snowplows.I ordered these for my RAM Promaster 3500 because I had heard from fellow owners that they are a worthwhile addition, for increased stability on the road. The instructions are good, and they weren’t too hard to install myself. They are kind of expensive for a couple of rings of dense foam/plastic, but I guess they must be petty heavy duty. I look forward to my next trip to see how they perform.
Install went fairly easy once I figured out the best spot to put the jack to lift the van. Really helped to have an oil filter wrench to get the old springs off the back. Took it out for a drive after an much better cornering and much less effect from wind and 18-wheelers. This was on a fairly windy day. No big difference in softness of the ride.

I installed the Sumo Springs , front and back, on my 2022 Promaster van before I started my camper conversion. Sumo springs are alimony a must on a build to reduce sway and assist with the constant load in the back of the van. I purchased them from etrailer because of their outstanding customer service

If you want something that IS CHEAP go to the jungle website but if you need something GOOD go to etrailer.com. Once it gets to your house to shop spend some time with their how-to videos so you don't waste time trying to install your new whatseythingamabobberdingdong! Trust me, I can computer and I can spel and tipe.

Perfect solution for our camper to avoid bottoming out
This one year review. We have a 2018 Mercedes Metris, it's just a big mini-van, but not a sprinter. The suspension is fairly soft, ok for city driving, but a little soft for 70+. When hauling a trailer we would gently sway, not great, so we got the rear set and it helped quite a bit, we followed with the front set 3 weeks later.
Overall it firmed up the suspension enough to really help without it being too firm. It raised the stance about 1/2" and is relatively easy to install.
Would buy again.

There is a significant improvement in ride comfort and reduced response to high winds and 18 wheelers as they pass, increased stability in turns and, overall, a more comfortable and secure ride. I'm 72 and installed both front and rear alone in under 1.5 hours. Great investment. PS We have a class B, Dodge Ram Promaster 1500 van.

Just returned from our first trip after installation of coil spring suspension- front axle and SumoSpring Solo Custom Helper Springs-rear axle. A significant difference is noted in ride as there is less bounce and sway. Cornering is more sure and flattened this noted on many curved mountain and rural roads traveled in Western and Central PA. Turnpike travel was smoother as road tar strips were not as notable given a stiffer ride.
I have traveled over 10,000 miles and feel that Sumo Springs for the front axles have been a great addition to my 2014 Winnebago Trend. I also added the Sumo Springs to the rear and new shocks. The ride and stability is much better with all these improvements. I would recommend all these products
