Today we'll be doing a review on the Camco Power Grip Generator Plug Adapter for RV power cords in the 30-amp with a three-prong twist lock part number CAM55333. Let's go ahead and go over a few features of this adapter plug. You can see here it's got three prongs on the back and each of these extra little edges that comes up is designed for the locking plug that you'll find on your generator. On this side we have just our standard 30-amp RV style plug, two blades. We a male side, three-prong for 30-amp going to our generator and a female three-prong 30-amp for our RV style plug that would be going into this whether it be an extension cord or the plug coming out of your camper, RV, motor home. It got some grips on the side, bright yellow color so you can see it at night time.
Let's go ahead and go over how a couple of things work. Then, we'll actually put it into our generator. All right, we're here at our generator and this here is our 30-amp three blade twist lock style. This is what the adapter would plug into. As you can see here one of these notches is kind of opt to the side that would line up with this one right here so you could simply put this one in and then it just twist slightly and as you can see it's locked into place. Then, we would simply plug in our RV style plug directly to this and then we would be ready to go.
By having this twist lock design, it actually locks into place and keeps the plug from vibrating loose when your generator is running and shaking around just a little bit. Simply pull it out. I'm sure we've all been in a situation where we had our generator, we weren't quite sure how we are going to connect this style which is an RV style plug directly to our generator but with this little adapter plug that problem is no longer. The next time you need to make a connection between your 30-amp generator plug and your RV 30-amp extension cord, Camco has a solution. I have not used the generator as much as I though I would but, it starts every time and runs great when I do use it. Great product.

I have used the adaptor a few times with my generator at the race track it works well fits snug no problems. It was also packaged well and was delivered on time I am satisfied I recommend it.

My adapter is still working great weve been bondocking more past year and couldnt live without this adapter
I opted for the 2 days shipping was supposed to arrive Friday showed up Thursday at 10 AM. Excellent. Couldn't ask for a better outcome in the situation I'm in for this adapter
Product arrived earlier than I expected. It appears to be exactly what I ordered but have not tried it yet.
