I bought this hitch for my Mazda cx50. The install was straight forward and I completed it in my driveway. I bought this primarily to haul my bike rack around and it has worked well.
Fits great. Looks great. Looks like a factory install/hitch. Easy installation of 30 minutes.
Very easy to install. Looks like it belongs on my Mazda CX-50 and fits like a glove. Took me longer to remove the Mazda lower trim piece below the bumper than rest of the installation. Had no problems installing this by myself, but next time I would have a second person to help hold hitch into place. No special tools needed (19mm socket and #2 Philips screwdriver), did not require doing any modifications to the vehicle or the hitch to have fit. Very satisfied with this hitch, very good welds and paint. You can't go wrong with purchasing this hitch for the Mazda CX-50.
Installation was relatively easy. I did it by myself. The fit to the car frame was a little tight. After positioning it in place with a dead blow hammer, it stayed in place while I put the bolts in.
Quality product smashed and scraped up in shipping.
Excellent fit on my new 2024 Mazda CX-50. Owner friendly installation process with typical home garage tools. Torque wrench required to complete installation. One helper makes job go smoothly after prep completed. Dealer video provides all the info needed for hassle free install.
Everything installed relatively easy as I hoped it would, as I did the install by myself, bolted right on. The fitment and quality of the hitch is excellent, pleased with the end result. A solid purchase! Thank you.
If I could give it zero stars I would. The packaging is beyond unacceptable. The hitch is in the box with no protection at all. The hitch was bent and twisted so bad it no longer fit between the frame rails. A vice couldn’t even straighten this piece of trash out. I had to heat it with a torch to straighten it out. You suck etrailer. I will never buy from you again.

I am sorry your hitch arrived in this condition. Hitches are designed to have a bit of flex, so they do not get cracked during the shipment. I have sent your information over to our customer service department and they should be getting in touch with you soon about a possible return.
The hitch fit my CX-50 perfectly, instructions and video helped a lot and I was able to do it myself! Looks great!
Hitch arrived having broken through the box in several places.
It appears to be structurally ok but I will have to paint several spots where the original coating was scratched off. Appears the hitch was thrown into the box with no additional protection. This hitch is priced about the same everywhere so I would look to another vendor and maybe they will put some thought into packaging/shipping.
Hitch fits perfect for new Mazda CX50. Great quality, feels very sturdy. Nice finish. Would definitely recommend.
The box in which it was delivered though was damaged. The hitch had made holes in the box and the hitch was sticking out. Fortunately, the hitch was in perfect condition. Would be a good idea to ship in wood box.

Fast delivery, perfect fit, installed myself, excellent product.
Shipped lightning fast to Alaska. I used to things taking longer to getting here but this was the same week. Pretty awesome.
Install was really a sinch. Hardest part was getting the bolts in. Used extra boxes of laminate flooring to rest hitch when putting in, then switched to a tire jack. Real easy.
I also used a drummer to cut the plastic. Broke my blade twice and it flew at me. Definitely be careful of going that route, those blades are brittle.
Extremely easy to install. First time working with a hitch and it couldn’t have been more simple. Product is great quality. The end of the receiver seems to have been scuffed up a little in shipping but should be a quick fix to weatherproof.
Just purchased a 13510 Curt hitch to fit a 2023 Mazda CX-50. When I unboxed the trailer hitch I was a bit concerned when I didn't instantly see the bolts and instructions, but we found them securely taped to the hitch. After reading the instructions, I verified what I read and saw in the instruction was what was actually under the car. When we bought the hitch we were told that the installation would take about 45 minutes. Well, my wife usually quadruples the time that I give her when I go to work on a car. I am sure you guys can relate to this! However, it actually only took 45 minutes to complete the project. Not only is the product good looking, but it fits perfectly. There is no way for a person to bang their leg on the receiver as it lies under the curvature of the bumper.
Easy install and perfect fit - took about 30 minutes to position it and bolt it in with a jack underneath. Required a little elbow grease and rubber mallet banging to line up the bolt holes as its a very tight fit. Directions were perfect. Used dremel with cutoff wheel to remove the bumper support section - that part took around 30 minutes too.

Fits like a glove! The only pain was trying to line up the holes myself; didn’t have a helper. The installation is pretty straightforward. Excited to use the hitch to haul my mtn bike this weekend!
As usual, another great experience when purchasing from etrailer. Made numerous buys from this company with zero complaints. Two thumbs up!!
The package arrive damaged. I will inspect in the next few days but it is apparent based on the photo that you do do not provide proper packaging of the product. It is unacceptable to have protrusions of the product through the box in multiple location. I recommend that you reassess your packaging system and conduct validation of such under typical shipping conditions. This will likely be the last time I purchase from you as I should not receive a package with so many penetrations of the exterior packaging. Had shipping validations been conducted appropriately you would hopefully have implemented changes to packaging to at least alleviate the typical environment a package would experience. Does Not' seem likely this was actually done.

I will definitely point out this review to our shipping department and have Customer Service reach out in case there was any damage to the hitch itself.
Great hitch. Instructions pretty decent, though they don’t have every step covered. I bought the wiring controller and harness as well. One challenge was getting the power wire from the controller to the battery. I get every vehicle is different, but if they offer instructions for this vehicle, that step should be included.
Install went well. Hitch looks great and functions great also.

Mazda made it this super easy to install. No removing of the exhaust or any wiring. Very straight forward. Took me just under 1 hour and saved me about $350 compared to the dealer installed hitch. I'll that that savings for a little labor!!
I think this is at least the third hitch I’ve ordered from etrailer.com over the years, and as always, it arrived quickly (early, actually), and was packaged well. The online instructions provided were spot on.
If you’re considering this hitch for a Mazda CX-50, I highly recommend it. I installed it by myself in less than an hour. Everything lined up perfectly and bolted right in.

Thank you for reaching out, I would be disappointed too. Honestly this is more common then we like. I recommend touching up the hitch with a rust resistant paint like Rustoleum. I will have our Customer Service team reach out to you. We can send out a can of paint to you.
