Features:
The drawbars, or front arms, on the crossbar-style, EZ series base plate kit are supremely easy to mount and remove. Just insert them into the brackets and twist to lock them in place. To remove, simply twist the arms back and pull them out. Once the drawbars have been removed, the remaining brackets offer a streamlined look. On most automobiles, the brackets are mounted within the grille, where they remain not only unseen, but protected from scrapes and scuffs as well.

Installed on 2014 GMC Acadia. Very sturdy and heavy duty base plate. I installed it myself. You will need a little automotive knowledge and more tools then the average do it yourself-er. It took about 6 hours, by myself. It looks more intimidating then it turned out to be. You can't see it when not in use which makes it nice for the wife, since it's her car.

Was easy to install and instructions were accurate and clear for my Traverse. Very pleased with this product.
It worked great, and would still be working if the motor had not blown for the second time in less than a year! Just ordered another one for my replacement car.

I called in the afternoon and the lady said it wood shipped that day which is normally not the case. But it was shipped that very day. The other thing I had called Road Master and they had gave me the part # for the rubber caps that goes on the end of the hitch which the order lady said wasn't right. She put me on hold and called Road Master and she came back and Road Master had gave me the number for the 1 1/4" instead of the 1 1/2" that I needed. Now that is what I call good service. I sorry I forgot her name but she deserves a Atta boy.

I don't remember if these were for installing on the Buick or the MG.
If they were for the MG, I have used them a good many times and they are fine.
If they are or the Buick, I have not used them yet. I just need to finish up the wiring and the aux brakes for it.

Thanks for asking. I installed them without a problem with the intention of pulling the Buick behind the motor home till I realized the Buick was 1000 over the tow limit of the hitch on the motor home so wound up never using them. If I ever need to tow it, they are there.
Here is an example of a Manufacture (Roadmaster) protecting their dealers, even though we are installers we are required to purchase from distributers, It is much easier to purchase from a quality E Dealer with a easy and complete web page than to spend my time walking into a local RV store and be frustrated with incompetent help. Great people to deal with. Order rec'd sooner than expected and the Roadmaster equipment was excellent.
The instructions were very good, the video was excellent. If I could make a recommendation, it was a little lacking at the end. Since the Smart car is virtually held together with push pins a little more time spent putting the car back together wourl have been helpful. I'm all done and I have 2 push pins left over and don't know where they go.
I received the base plate for my Miata at 4:30 Monday by 7:00 it was installed and ready to go.A great product fit very nicely.Ordering and follow up went great can’t wait to try it out Just need to decide on the tow bar we will use.The Falcon or Sterling .Thank you for a great product and service.
Installation is a bit involved but worth every second of it for the peace of mind while driving. Had a slight issue with my ordering incorrect parts but these guys went above and beyond to get it resolved in time to not miss my trip. Even rush manufactured them due to not being in stock!! Great company to do business with.
Prepared my vehicle for the base plate. The base plate has a manufacturing defect in that the crossbar is approximately.375 inches short. The hole pattern matched on one side but the other side would not line up with the vehicle holes. The mounting plate overlapped the mounting holes by 1/3rd. Clearly, the assembly was short. I find my disassembled vehicle sitting for a week waiting for the replacement to arrive. Hopefully, Roadmaster QC did a better job on the new base plate assembly that I am waiting for.
