Hi everyone. Do you have a through axle bike, and you need to secure it to your Sea Sucker rack Well, we have the Husky through axle work mount. We'll take a look at how it works here etrailer.com. Just double check your through axle and make sure you use the correct plug because there are a bunch of different options here on our web webpages. With your plugs, you do have this rubber washer which helps secure them in the mount. Now on that side too, you are gonna to apply a little of pressure to get them into the mount.
Follow the instructions on your specific bike rack to secure the mount using two bolts. Get your bike up onto your roof and then line it up with the plug adapters. Once it's lined up you can then use your through axle to secure it. Don't forget to tighten down your through axle with the appropriate tool. And just like that, you have your bike mounted to the fork mounted through axle adapter.
And yes, it's a little trickier if you're shorter or if you have a larger bike like me and I need someone else to help me get it up on there. But otherwise, it's a really quick and easy process if you have the correct plugs. I was having issues finding a fork mount that fit my forks. I tried several other mounts but they didn't seem to sit flush in the dropouts. This mount and the plastic adapters sat perfectly inside my forks. The plastic adapters also seem more forgiving on my carbon forks than the other aluminum mounts. This product is a little more pricey than others, but worth it to have it fit properly.
