Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Solar Charging Optimization Module for Goal Zero Yeti generators. The Goal Zero Lithium Max Power Point Tracking Module is designed for the Yeti 1000, 1400, and the Yeti 3000. It simply increases solar charging in low light or varied temperatures. This unit actively monitors the energy source you're using to charge the Yeti and optimizes the source to maximize power. So when it does that it results in up to 40% faster charge times, especially from solar panels. So the charge time for a Yeti 1000 is about three and a half hours.
Charge time for a Yeti 1400 is about five hours. And the charge time for the Yeti 3000 is about 10 hours. It does come with some mounting hardware and it mounts directly under the lid at the top of your Yeti. This unit contains two eight millimeter inputs as well as the Anderson Power Pole input. Then right here you have the blue connector to connect directly to the Yeti.
And this little cable right here, this is the data transfer cable or connector and it connects to the Yeti as well. That's going to do it for today's look at the Solar Charging Optimization Module for Goal Zero Yeti generators.

Item was exactly what I ordered!

I was sceptical at first, but will say it does improve charging efficiency. I use this on a goal zero yeti 1400 and would quess a good 15% increase in power income from two 100 watt panels. I think overall it’s a good investment for quicker charge times in the long run.
Install was quick and easy. Also gives you Two extra 8mm ports and a exta anderson port for input.

This upgrade is well worth the expense. It cuts charging time down dramatically. It would be nice if Goal Zero had these in the 1000 already, but I'm happy with my purchase.

Part is a perfect add on for Goal Zero Yeti1000. I highly recommend that anyone who ones a Yeti to buy this add on!

Item received in a timely manner.
Have not used yet because I am still waiting on delivery of my Yeti 1400.
I'm sure I will be reviewing my Yeti on GZ so I will be sure to recommend etrailer.com as a possible source for out of stock GZ items.
