The Erickson Re-Tractable Ratchet Straps # 34414 are capable of being mounted permanently. These are great straps and the push button retract is a great feature. Unfortunately I do not recommend permanently mounting any material straps as they do deteriorate from UV damage and weather.
For your situation I recommend the Pack'em Wheel Tie-Down Kit # PK-WTD. This anchors your UTV at the wheels allowing your suspension to move and not risking damage to the suspension components by overloading... view full answer...
If your trailer has Etrack installed in it like the part # E19148 the Erickson ATV E-Track Tie-Down Kit # EM09160 that you referenced would be a great option.
This kit has a safe working load limit of 1,500 lbs with a max break strength of 4,500 lbs so it would have more than enough capacity. view full answer...
If you used the Erickson ATV E-Track Tie-Down Kit w/ Ratchet Straps and Wheel Chocks # EM09160 on all 4 wheels of your UTV you'd have more than enough capacity for your 1,700 lb Kawasaki Tyrex 4 LE.
I attached an install video for this for you to check out as well. view full answer...
Yes, the Erickson ATV E-Track Tie-Downs # EM98CV includes wheels chocks and straps for four wheels and will accommodate vehicles weighing in at 3000lb maximum with tires between 10" and 30" in diameter. Since your 2006 Kawasaki Mule 3010 weighs in right around 1500lbs this would be a perfect option for you.
I do recommend adding two sets of the Backing Plates # e66RR to better distribute the clamping force of the bolts holding the e-tracks to the trailer.
I included videos of the products... view full answer...
We have just what you need.
For a wheel net that is compatible with the 30"x10"x15" tires on your new 2022 Polaris General XP 4 you will need the ProGrip Adjustable Wheel Net # 317-18900, and then to connect them to your e track rails you will need the E-Track Rope Ring Tie Down Strap # 33701080. You will need one net and two tie downs per wheel.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at. view full answer...
I looked up the weight of your Kubota BX25D and found it to be 1,587 lbs. Since each one of the ShockStrap Ratchet UTV Tie-Downs w Shock Absorbers # 297-7RSBB-UTV has a 1,000 lb capacity it would easily secure your Kubota! view full answer...
I can definitely help determine if a Mad Ramp system is right for you, but I will need some information from you first. What type of ATV or snowmobile do you intend to transport? What vehicle will you be using to transport this item? Once I have this information, I will better able to help you. view full answer...
The # C45832 strap loop itself has a 13K capacity, so the strength of this part itself wouldn't be an issue. If the combined capacity of the receiver hitches is greater than the 2370 lb dry weight of your UTV, this would be a good way of tying it down.
If the receivers don't have that kind of capacity, I'd use a more traditional tie down setup like a couple of D-rings such as # 337B40MP and two ratchet straps like # BDW20325. You could rig it up as shown in the provided video. view full answer...
I would recommend using 2 sections of Horizontal E-Track, # E19148, down each side and 2 sections of Horizontal E-Track down the middle of your trailer, 6 sections in all, to give you as many tie down options as possible for securing all of your different toys.
Your BMW K1200 sounds like the heaviest item you will need to tie down. I recommend using 2 packages of the Retractable Ratchet Straps, # 34414, along with 4 of the E-Track Tie-Off Rings, # 59131. Four tie down points are needed... view full answer...
Yes, the Brophy D-Ring Anchor # RR01-C that you referenced would do a great job to secure the UTV you plan on transporting in your trailer. Especially since you plan on using 8 of them and these have a 1,200 lb capacity each.
For tie downs you would want the part # SM54FR. view full answer...
You can use 2 of Pack'Em Wheel Tie-Down Kit # PK-WTD on the front wheels or rear wheels or one on the front and one on the back of your Can Am UTV. It is possible, depending on the weight over the wheels that are not tied down, for the UTV to bounce some. It is less likely to occur if you tied down the wheels closest to the trailer axle. In our demo video which I have linked for you we tied down the rear wheels. view full answer...
Yes, the Erickson ATV E-Track Tie-Down Kit w/ Ratchet Straps and Wheel Chocks # EM09160 that you referenced can secure an ATV facing either direction that you mentioned. Either facing forwards or to the sides. view full answer...
I think ideally you'd use two kits of the Erickson ATV E-Track Tie-Down Kit # EM09160 to secure them properly. I'd say on normal roads this is a great idea (using two kits), but on a rough road it's basically a requirement so that you don't have to worry about anything. view full answer...
We've had several customers use the E-tracks to secure a Harley like what you are planning on doing. There's also no reason you couldn't use the ShockStrap Ratcheting UTV Tie-Down Kit # 297-7RSBB-UTV as well. The included shock absorbers absorb impact to ensure constant tension, even if your Harley shifts.
These have more than enough capacity too at 3,000 lbs max load. view full answer...
The Erickson Retractable, Ratcheting Tie-Down Straps # EM34416 will not loosen once tightened. The problem you are most likely experiencing is that you tighten your ATV down and then after a few miles the ATV has moved around slightly or settled due to the bumps from the road and now the tie-downs seem loose. This has nothing to do with the tie-downs loosening though. view full answer...
It would take an incredibly hard braking situation to lift the rear wheels of a UTV if only the front wheels of it were secured with the Tie Down Kit part # EM09160. Essentially it would only happen if you were in an accident. That being said it is still better to secure the rear wheels.
If the UTV was installed facing perpendicular to traffic the two wheels that would be closest to the rear of the trailer would be the ones to use with the straps. view full answer...
The Erickson ATV E-Track Tie-Down Kit # EM09160 you referenced are 6-1/2 feet long. As long as this fits over the tires on your ATV this tie-down kit will work perfectly to secure it to your trailer.
I have attached a short video demonstration on this kit that you can also take a look at. view full answer...
Correct, using a set of the Erickson ATV E-Track Tie-Down Kit part # EM09160 on the front and rear (2 kits) would provide up to a 3,000 lb safe working load limit (WILL). This is an excellent tie down option for ATV's and one of my favorites. You'll just drive the ATV onto the trailer and line up with the ramps then you are ready to tie down. There's not a ton of extra strap to deal with and as they are rather thick and short, they don't tangle like most standard ones do. view full answer...
I'd recommend a set of the Erickson ATV E-Track Tie-Down Kit w/ Ratchet Straps and Wheel Chocks # EM09160 for each of your ATVs. I'd run the straps on the wheels of each ATV closest to the front of the trailer if at all possible.
The hardware needed will be based on the trailer and what would work the best for it. Grade 5 higher bolts and you'd be good. view full answer...
The Erickson ATV E-Track Tie-Down Kit # EM09160 referenced in your question features a maximum load (break strength) of 4,500 pounds and a safe working load limit (WLL) of 1,500 pounds. When determining if the capacity is enough for your application, you will want to go by the 1,500 pound safe working load limit.
This is an excellent tie-down kit that will secure your ATV or other wheeled equipment to your trailer. It includes 4 wheel chocks and 2 ratchet tie-down straps. I have attached... view full answer...
