Unfortunately, the Victory Step Manual Fold-Down Steps for RV and Toy Haulers # LC726895 will only work with entryways that are 30-45 inches high. According to the owner's manual, your Metris is rated to tow up to 5000 lbs. I saw no prohibitions regarding weight distribution mentioned, but you'll want to find the ID label on the hitch.
