I recommend the Optronics LED trailer light kit # TL16RK. The kit includes 2 LED tail lights, 2 amber side marker and clearance lights, license plate bracket, wiring harness and stainless steel mounting hardware.
I also recommend getting a deluxe wiring installation kit # HM51020 because it includes all the necessary essentials for rewiring a trailer. view full answer...
Nice car!
With the Derale Stacked-Plate Engine Oil Cooler Kit # D15603 you can have the fittings in any orientation. They can face down, to the side or up as needed. We do not have any steel braided lines though. view full answer...
I have just what you need to repair the Kwikee 32 Series Steps Made 2015; part # LC379145 for the complete kit which includes the motor, gear box, and controller or you could replace just the gear box with part # LC379160, just the motor with part # LC379147, or just the controller with part # LC379146. view full answer...
Yes, since the quad tip exhaust you have on your 2000 Chevy Corvette is part of the stock exhaust system the Curt Hitch part # C11034 that you referenced would work for you.
For trailer wiring you would want the # 18252, for a ball mount # C45521, # A-82 for a 2 inch ball, # A-80 for a 1-7/8 inch ball view full answer...
The only way to be able to carry bikes on your 2000 Corvette is to install a trailer hitch and choose a bike carrier for the hitch. We do not offer any trunk mount bike carriers for your Corvette.
The trailer hitch I recommend is the Curt, part # C11034. This is a Class l hitch and it has a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening.
Since the trailer hitch is a Class l you are limited to 2 bikes in a carrier. The bike carrier I recommend is the Thule Camber 2 # TH9058. This bike rack has anti-sway... view full answer...
For the Wesbar 7-way with coiled harness # WG54006-43 the coil length is 8 -1/2 inches. It's hard to say exactly how much force in lbs is used to stretch out the harness but it's not too difficult. We have the wiring color code pretty prominently displayed in the product description. We don't have a different version of this that uses the other wiring color code but as long as you follow the wiring colors by function it will work just as well. view full answer...
The Curt trailer hitch # C11034 has a gross trailer weight capacity of 2500 pounds and tongue weight capacity of 250 pounds. The weight of the trailer plus the bike would be 900 pounds so you are well under the capacity of the hitch. However, you have to also consider the towing capacities of the vehicle.
A Corvette is not typically a vehicle used for towing so capacity information or anything related to towing may not even be in the owners manual but you will want to check there first... view full answer...
You will want to get a spare tire that has the same size and weight capacity as your current tires do. If your spare was rated for a lower weight capacity and you had a blowout while under a full load, your spare tire might not be able to handle the weight.
I looked up your Venture Boat Trailer model and it looks like your tire size for your VATB-7225 is ST225/75D15 with a Load Range of D. From what I gather it looks like your wheel has a 6 lug pattern. A great spare tire would be the... view full answer...
The best solution for transporting your dog kennel on your 2006 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is to install a trailer hitch on the back of the car and then use a hitch-mount carrier. There is a hitch offered for your Vette (as long as it does NOT have the Dual Mode exhaust) and that is part # C11380 from Curt. The hitch bolts on using included hardware and requires just a bit of drilling. The linked install video and article will help you through the installation process.
This light-duty... view full answer...
For a 2005 Chevrolet Corvette C6 I have the MagnaFlow Stainless Steel Axle-Back Exhaust System, part # MF15886. This is an axle-back system that will install from the axle back to the tailpipe. The polished stainless steel quad tips ( dual tips on each side) are 4 inch diameter. The diameter on the mandrel bent tubes is 2-1/2 inches that connect the system to your exhaust system. I am including a link to the installation instructions on the axle-back system.
There is also a cat-back systems... view full answer...
Given the low ride height of a Corvette, going with the longer # RR-TR-9-FLP would be the better choice as you'd be less likely to high-side the vehicle when it enters the trailer. Both ramps have the same 5.5ยบ approach angle but you'd have a 2-1/4 inch height gap between the trailer door and the top of the ramp if the # RR-TR-7-FLP were used. This would be more likely to scrape the underside of the vehicle than the smaller gap with the # RR-TR-9-FLP. view full answer...
The only versions of the 2008 Chevy Corvette the Curt hitch part # C11380 won't fit are the models that have the dual exhaust mode where when you accelerate hard the mufflers get bypassed. I looked up the Z51 specs and that is not a standard feature of it so this SHOULD fit well unless you also have the dual exhaust mode setup.
Exhaust rattle on trailer hitches is normally fixed by bending the exhaust hangers so that the pipes are held further away from the hitch. Or you can go with a... view full answer...
The picture used for the Gray WeatherTech Cargo Liner # WT42076 that you referenced is a typical photo used to give you an idea on what color it will be. The actual shape of the mat will match your 1994 Chevy Corvette. view full answer...
I'd go with a mirror style camera as that will give you the view you want without having to mount a monitor on the interior. So the Rear View Safety G-Series Backup Camera System # RVS-778718N would be what I would go with. The display is 4.3 inches in size and has adjustable gridlines as well. view full answer...
I do have a trailer hitch option for a 1996 Chevrolet Corvette, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11705. This hitch features a 1-1/4" receiver tube opening which is all that is available but if you need a 2" we do still have an option which would be to use an adapter, the Brophy Hitch Adapter part # HTAD.
The Draw-Tite Hitch Receiver part # 75691 is for a Ford F-150 so it will not fit. view full answer...
Curt requires the use of their stabilizer strap part # 18050 when using their hitch to carry a non-supported load like a bike rack on their lighter duty hitches like the part # C11380 which is a fit for your 2006 Chevy Corvette. The reason for the strap is basically to help reduce vertical shock from bumps being transferred to the hitch and frame.
I wish there was a different hitch available for your vehicle that did not require this strap.
The most popular bike rack we carry that has... view full answer...
The easiest way to find the correct replacement braking assemblies for a trailer will be by using the axle capacity which is typically printed onto a tag in the center of the beam. If one is not present you can measure the inside of the drum and count the mounting flange bolts. You'll also need to determine if you have electric or hydraulic and whether they are drum or disc.
I have attached our entire trailer brake assembly selection below for you to choose from once you get the above... view full answer...
The straight-through style mufflers like the MagnaFlow Stainless Steel, Straight-Through Universal Muffler - Race Series, # MF14161, that you referenced are the loudest mufflers that we carry. The race series mufflers are universal fit applications, so you will want to make sure the inlet and outlet size on the muffler is compatible with your exhaust system.
If you still have the stock 2-1/2 inch exhaust pipes on your 1977 Chevrolet Corvette, then I would recommend the MagnaFlow Straight-Through... view full answer...
The Rightline Car Top Duffel Bag # RL100D90 measures 36" x 16" x 13" so it should work well on the luggage rack that is on the trunk of your 1991 Chevy Corvette convertible so I would recommend it for you.
Might be a good idea for you to measure your luggage rack first to determine if it would fit well. I don't see why it wouldn't as it is not that big but it would be smart to double check. view full answer...
The best charger that you can use for the Red Top Optima Battery is the CTEK MULTI US 7002 Universal 12-Volt Battery Charger # CTEK56353.
