- I'd recommend going with a Class III hitch like the Curt # C13035. A Class III hitch with a 2 inch receiver will allow both a higher capacity than a Class II like the # 90231, but will also have a much better selection of hitch mounted accessories available, such a cargo carrying trays or bike racks. A Class III is usually not any more expensive than a Class II, so there's really no reason not to go with the alternative that would allow you more options and flexibility.
