I do have a few options available for you however, we currently do not sell torsion axles. You have two options to consider for your trailer, the Timbren axle-less suspension and the Dexter straight axles. As you have a gross trailer weight (GTW) of 3,000 lbs. Unfortunately we don't have a database of your trailer parts available to us. To get the correct bearings, I will need some assistance from you. You can pull your hub and give me the bearing numbers of your inner and outer bearing (the number is printed on the face of the bearing), or you can measure the spindle using a digital caliper like # PTW80157 in specific locations of the bearings and seal. The owner's manual is what we defer to when it comes to flat towing vehicles. It looks like your 2022 GMC Canyon Elevation does states that the 4WD vehicle needs to have the N (Neutral) and 4WD Low settings to flat tow it. What you are seeing is correct, and you are right about the reasoning behind it. Since the key must stay in the ACCESSORY mode to keep the steering wheel from locking up, this means that there are some components that can drain your battery over the course of time while you are flat towing. If you were to forget to disconnect it then you would simply have a dead battery once you arrive at your destination (if it's far enough away).

You'll want your tow bar within 3 inches of level. According to Blue Ox, when the # BLU93FR is installed on a 2015 Canyon, the tow bar tabs will be 13-1/2 inches above the ground (assuming your Canyon is at stock ride height.)
