All of the slip-on mirrors like part # C11800 you referenced have flat mirrors, and are not available with a convex mirror feature. I spoke with my contact at Cipa, and they told me that the old-style extendable mirrors all feature a flat mirror, and that on some of the newer models for certain vehicles they have been redesigned and they have replaced the flat mirrors with convex mirrors.

The CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors # CM11550 are speciically designed to help you see behind your trailer. While they do not necessarily expose anything, they do give you a 4" extended mirror face which allows you to to expand your line of sight further.

The K-Source # KS3990 universal towing mirrors are what I'd consider the best universal towing mirrors we offer, because of the ratcheting strap mechanism they use to attach to the factory mirror. This allows for a tight fit, which limits vibration from the mirrors attachment to the factory mirror. Movement from the factory mirror could be a different story.

I went out to the warehouse to examine the CIPA Custom Towing Mirror, Driver Side, # CM11301, more closely. (The passenger side mirror is # CM11302.) The instructions do state that the towing mirror may mar the factory mirror finish. However, the wedge that holds the mirror in place comes with an adhesive backed felt liner to help protect the finish. The tightening knob on the back should be tight enough to secure the mirror but avoid over tightening as damage to the OEM mirror may occur.

The K-Source Custom Mirrors # KS80800, are contoured to fit around your OEM factory mirrors on your 2003 Silverado. The mirrors attach by small integrated clips around the edge of the mirror and double sided tape. You should have no issues with the mirrors folding. You would have to fold in your OEM mirrors for the # KS80800 mirrors to fold.
You may want to have your OEM mirrors checked to make sure nothing is broken since they are folding in with the aftermarket mirrors.

The Longview Mirror # CTM4000 mirrors you mentioned are unfortunately not available without the flames molded into the plastic mirror housings. These are the only custom mirrors available from our suppliers for your Tundra, but there are some universal-fit choices available.

If the mirrors you have on your 2012 Silverado do not currently have turn signals, or heat functions, towing mirrors with those features will not be enabled. The wiring is not completed for those functions on the vehicle.

Although the CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors, # CM10950, and the Longview Custom Towing Mirrors, # LVT-1800, are very popular with our customers and scratching paint is not a common complaint, any time that you slide something across paint you do run the risk of a scratch. To considerably reduce the risk of scratches I recommend that you make sure that the towing mirror and factory mirror are clean and free of any debris. A good coat of wax on the painted surface of your mirrors will also help.

The face of the mirror is indeed fully adjustable. The OEM (factory) mirror can be adjusted as well, which will affect the adjustment of the CIPA towing mirror.

The custom towing mirrors I recommend for your 2010 F-250 are part # CM11900. These do not extend as they are a slip-on mirror. These mirrors are designed to fit manual, power, heated and non-heated mirrors.

You can remove the Hot Spot Mirror, part # 49403 from your mirror and re-install it.
You can use a piece of dental floss behind the mirror and work it back and forth until the mirror is free. Then use rubbing alcohol to remove the residue from the mirror is there is any and also the back of the # 49403.

The CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors part # CM11550 which are a fit for a 2016 Ford F-150 don't have any magnification. I am not actually aware of any towing mirrors we offer with magnification, they are designed to simply extend your field of view so you can see your trailer better and what's beside it. There are some blind-spot stick-on mirrors which have magnification but that's it to the best of my knowledge. The K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors, # KS70131-32T, will fold up against the truck but this must be done manually. These mirrors do not offer the power folding option like the factory mirrors on your 2011 Toyota Tundra.

Since you said you do not like the straps, the only other option we carry is a clamp-on mirror like part # CM11980. This mirror clamps to the top of your Expedition mirror and has a telescoping feature that lets you extend it from the retracted 10 inches up to 17 inches.
