Can CIPA Blind Spot Mirrors Be Re-Installed On Vehicle Mirrors
Question:
If I remove the blind spot mirror on my side mirrors will it damage my mirrors at all? The reason I want to remove them is because I put them on the upper right corner and I dont like them there at all!! I would like to move them down to the lower left corner. If I cant use the same ones I have another set I can use I bought my son a set and he didnt want them.

You can remove the Hot Spot Mirror, part # 49403 from your mirror and re-install it.
You can use a piece of dental floss behind the mirror and work it back and forth until the mirror is free. Then use rubbing alcohol to remove the residue from the mirror is there is any and also the back of the # 49403.
To re-install it on the vehicle mirror you can clean the place you want to install it and use some 3M double sided tape. This is basically the same adhesive used for originally installing the # 49403 mirror.
